Santa and Sales
Every year just before Christmas, hundreds of people dress up as Santa and run around London. All finally congregating at Trafalgar Square. This year was no exception.

The sales at Brent Cross attract many people who like a bargain. Whether it is shoes, TV's, hand bags or laptops - there are people queuing from early on to get the best deal.

A month of theatres and actors....
Three times a year, Sam photographs Stagecoach Theatre Arts schools at Her Majesty's Theatre, London. Sixteen of their schools are chosen to perform at this great London theatre. Here are a selection of the photos:

Actor's portraits are always fun and involve lots of costume changes. This month, Doug Cooper required 10 changes and Bill Pitcher's shoot included dressing up as a priest.

Launches and photos calls
Lots of photo calls and launches this month.
Autoglass launched Bright Day for Brake – the road safety charity, a campaign to encourage children to be seen during the darker winter nights. The launch was at Scott Lower School in Bedford with Year 4 pupils. The photos were sent out to all the national and local newspapers.

Hobbs is the ultimate luxury in beds and mattresses. The photo shoot required a lot of help from all the staff to move all the beds around. A double starts from £4750 - and thats just for the mattress!

Gearing up to Autumn plus more.....

It has been a busy time photographing an assortment of people from the MD of Guava to MP's and actresses. As well as taking photos for an advertorial for City Index.

At Land Rover, Sam photographed the directors and workshop staff for marketing and PR.

Backstage at The Savoy Theatre with Sian Phillips was good fun. It was a quick photo shoot in her dressing room (always a bit of a squeeze), before she went on stage in Cabaret.

City Index commissioned a photo shoot of their top analysts James Chen and Ashraf Laidi. They were co hosting an online programme called Trading Academy. The photos were used for advertorial purposes in most UK national newspapers.

Banking on Success
This month has been all about finance.

Sam works regularly with Metro Bank photographing the opening of their new branches and VIP parties whilst also working on a marketing campaign for WONGA.COM helping them launch their new business loans to small businesses.

Revving up to Summer
One of our long term clients Jemca Toyota unveils the new Lexus GS round the UK. We would love to have taken a car away with us but Quentin Wilson beat us to it.

Big Brother is watching you....
The last 3 months have gone by in a whirl here at Square-Image.

We just wanted to share a few of those moments with you as it is a good example of the varied, unusual, eclectic but absolutely lovely job we do, so pull up a chair for a few minutes.....

Sam shot off to the health spa Champneys, not for a bit of pampering and soothing mud wrap, (she says!) but because she was commissioned to take the exclusive photographs of Tara Reid after she was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house. Tara thoroughly enjoyed being styled and having her hair and make-up done and Sam came away with one of the few sets of pictures of Tara not in a bikini!

Sam was also commissioned by Jemca Toyota to photograph all their London showrooms. The photographs aren't for publication but will be framed and hung in the boardroom of their HQ.

Sam has also been at Scotland yard recently with the charity Kids Taskforce who were launching a safety film. They are an amazing charity who work with schools on child safety issues.

Lastly, we were asked by Voluntary Action Westminster to take the photographs for their Annual Review. They wanted portraits of the people who used and worked for their service to highlight the diversity of what they do. With that brief in mind we spent two days visiting volunteers and service users to take their portraits.

It's now the beginning of December and things don't seem to be slowing down at all.

Which leaves us with wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and looking forward to seeing you all in 2012.
Tea at the Savoy to Big Brother.......
August has been non-stop. Sam has been commissioned for a wide variety of shoots.

Sam had a big studio shoot earlier in the month for a national newspaper which went very smoothly. Sam was also commissioned to take the exclusive photographs of whoever was evicted from the Big Brother House. It ended up being Sally Bercow and Sam spent the day at a secret location photographing Sally. It was a very long day but well worth it as the photographs ran across double page spreads in some of the Sunday papers.
